Woman is the “Wo” of Man
His power and strength
Ready to give him a hand
like a pillar she stands
Woman appears to live in negative space
Her presence subliminal
Her place profound
Unassuming, unseen but always around
Woman embodies all men
Carries them in her womb
She nurtures their tender soul
With unconditional love
Woman suffers in silence
Her tears dry
She keeps her family together
Nestles, fights, and ready to die
She sacrifices not for brevity
Her ego does not rule her
She fights to stand in equality
not to outwit or maneuver
Feminism is not about superiority
It is to stand for deserved rights
to fight for our dignity
We will not be objectified
So listen up Man
WOman today may reside in negative space
But her presence makes the man’s story
complete
We are all pieces of a puzzle that fit
together in a grand design
Each gender is lost without the other
We are all pillars of the same species
To support one another
To stand tall side by side
To uphold humanity
Woman is not a man
And man is not a woman
They are different for a reason
To help each other’s stance.
When women’s rights are under attack,
What do we do?
Stand up and fight back!
